The canoe race at Camp Brulé in 6th grade. We finished first, only to realize we’d forgotten the last lap. We jumped back in, backwards, and still won. Oh, and kissing girls.

PASTIME / HOBBY / OBSESSION
I go through a lot of creative phases. Right now, it’s all poetry and photography. And a lot of spin-offs from those endeavors, like Good Beer Hunting. But life-drawing has been inspiring me again lately, so this summer should be filled with plenty of sketching. I want to know what it’s like to draw like this.
