HILLARY SCHUSTER!
Chicago-dweller, party-thrower, crafter, information designer, pop-culture obsessor, coffee drinker, nerd, recovering engineer, cat owner, beer lover, wife, daughter, sister, friend (and I have to add: lovely style maven + bundle of inspiration)
Here’s a little something about Hillary:
RESIDING AT…
An apartment in Ravenswood with my husband Michael and our 2 cats. We live near Lincoln Square and close to many many parks and the North branch of the Chicago river.
FAVORITE SUMMER CAMP MEMORY
Michael and I got married at a camp in West Michigan (I grew up near Grand Rapids). The whole weekend was magical–all of our friends and family getting to know each other over beer and bluegrass music, sleeping in bunks and shooting arrows. The ceremony was my favorite part but the talent show might be a close second.
TOP 3 FAVORITE SITES / BLOGS FOR INSPIRATION
I go through phases with blogs but lately my steady go-tos are:
{Frolic!} — Chelsea is a floral designer and stylist (jealous) with a style that reminds me of Swedish simplicity and cottage living
Wit and Delight — Kate Arends might be the coolest person on the internet–with an incredibly current, but timeless, lifestyle aesthetic (her Tumblr and pins are THE BEST)
Scout's Honor Co. blog — I go to Annemarie’s site for more personal art and design inspiration–her work has an American whimsy that I find kind of heartwarming

Hello, Hillary. My wife and I own a house across the lake from Camp Wandawega. Your favorite camp memory caught my eye as I went to a camp in west Michigan as a boy and as a counselor as a young man. So I followed your links and discovered it was Camp Pendalouan on Big Blue. My camp was Owasippe Scout Reservation which is right across the lake from where you were married! I'm still active as an alumni and try to get upo there at least once a year. It's a beautiful location. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your posts as our new counselor.
