this is the 38th christmas i've celebrated in beardstown, illinois.
it was a full winter blanket.
top left is my niece on their horse farm.
right; cornbread i made the evening before
center: my sister in laws trophies, david opening up the stable main entrance
bottom collage: my nieces heading to their old barn, being demolished this week (sadly,
its too far gone to save)- inside this gem, in a corner, scrawled on the walls is a message written nearly a century ago:
"WATER THE TEAM BEFORE HITCHING".
