we got a private tour of the Anderson Mansion while visiting my sister in Carlinville.
glad I brought my camera- lovely old wallpaper, original gingerbread- much of it not restored, in its original decaying condition. a great example of the ghosts of old money. (top pic is the family who built it) check it out: macsociety.org
