BOYSCOUT PATCH COLLAGE

so i met this gentleman with one tooth.
one tooth, a very long beard, and a trailer full of junk.
... at the walworth county flea market last summer.
in his treasure trove of junk, found a cardboard box packed
with vintage boyscout stuff. pins, shirts, hats, socks, ties, patches,
every possible thing imaginable.
so, being the eternal hoarder- i bought the lot for $30.
after staring at said box for some time, i finally decided what
to do with some of the loot.

HOW TO TURN A BOX OF PATCHES INTO ART:
* find a cool old frame
* cut a chunk of plywood to fit the frame
* wrap the chunk in a felt backer (or in this case a $5 walgreens throw)
(stretch tight and staple gun it to the backside)
* layout everything out in a formation you like...
* then make friends with your glue gun.
TIP: red wine typically expedites the process.
