TASTING TABLE / APT 9 / HERITAGE BICYCLES / PAUL OCTAVIOUS... at camp!

Last weekend we hosted so many friends, new and old for a weekend of food, filming, photos, and fleaing.

(It's weekends like this that feed our creative souls and make every dollar + minute spent to hold this place together worth it)

! heather sperling of the tasting table whipped up some fantastic dinner and brunch. booze sponsored by Solemn Oath Brewery

( I sware to god, she's a modern day grace kelly with a spatula)

! The folks @ Heritage bicycles stayed with us to hit the Elkhorn Flea Market.

(along with the fine folks of ANTIQUE TACO- who were beyond adorable.) 

! Marc Moran from apt 9 brought his swat-team of bloggers, photographers, social media icons like

Michael Oneal (how the hell does he get 12,000 likes on a photo of our treehouse?!)

and our very dear Paul Octavious shooting for THE PANTONE PROJECT

and the lovely Yewon Kim 

Nathan Michaels brought new friends from popular pays, and the gaslight coffee roastery. (thanks for the beans, guys!)

They shot mini films. photographed, did some interviews, make meals and all-around merry.

sometimes you meet folks who are so gifted and productive in life that they make you feel like you are standing still. (how do they manage have families, a social life, and open up businesses before even hitting 30?)

shops like fleur. buckshot sonny's. the indo projects. stone blitzer. sparrow. threefold. goodbeerhunting. the green bean. post27. the post family. winter session.  bladon conner. suitorlife. land and sea dept.
(far too many to continue listing, so i'll have to do another series of posts on inspirational folks that we love)

it blows my mind.
and motivates the hell out of me to get off the couch.

we've been blessed with a slew of crazy talented folks visit us at camp in the past few years...
including some amazing photographers.

to that end, we assembled 'the photographer's collective'.
a place to gather and share some fun shots that have been taken while roasting smores.

STYLE SEEK RETREAT recap

from StyleSeek's post on the retreat:

"A few weekends ago our Creative Director Ryan Plett got a diverse group of photographers together and took them out into the woods of Wisconsin for the weekend with only their cameras, food/liquor, and the amazing resort.

The goal was to highlight a single place, seeing how each person would experience the same location while creating truly unique content. Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn Wisconsin was the location for the #StyleSeekRetreat, a private camp that has been painstakingly curated with vintage and authentic items that truly take you back in time.
