We replaced the lake swing this weekend, and while we were at it, decided to add another one. It soon became the favorite pastime. (thanks to sam, mike, dave and brandon for the tree trimmin' & swing hangin'!)
Agree with Sam on the danger - I'm not waiting in line for a carnival ride. I was worried there would not be a way for me to take a dunk fully clothed this fall.
I saw your gorgeous cottage on AT and fell completely in love! I've been searching for a cabin just like it here in the Pacific Northwest and yours has provided me with endless inspiration.
awesome! That swing is so much fun and now it is double the fun with double mint gum.
Awe! Looks like amazing fun! Can't wait!
We should probably go ahead and put Rich's name on the donor recipient list for a replacement liver right now.
I hope this new rope swing is AT LEAST as dangerous as the original.
Otherwise, what's the point?

What paradise. Do you rend it.
How confusing...I meant "do you rent it?" Sorry. We live in Madison and would love a little retreat to rent.

Would you all be related or know Winnie Surratt from IL? I know you have to be direct descedants of Mary Surratt.
What an adorable cottage ... the swing brings back childhood memories. What a wonderful view & picturesque lake. How wonderful for you.
